Visiting Chinchero and Moray early in the morning means you reach them before the midday tour-bus crowds. By the time other groups arrive at Maras around noon, you're already having lunch. The afternoon light also works in your favor at Ollantaytambo and Pisac, casting warmer tones across the terracing for photos.
Pacing throughout the day
